Aye, I definitely shortened my sash a lot after playing around with wrapping it different ways. I find that this is the best length for me, and I can adjust it to hang a little lower or higher depending on how I want it that day. It's sort of in between the CotBP and DMC length. But yeah, if you just leave it the length you get it, the thing is way too bloody long. At least with IKEA curtains. But it seems the same is true for the ACME sash as well.

I think you can try contacting sparrow goods on kttc, about a month ago he offered cheap sashes.
