Empire makes a sash it's $60 though. It's the only replica one I've seen anywhere. Or if you want a cheaper one you could get the costume base one it's not exact though.

yea at this stage in the game, Empire is going to be your best bet - don't even consider Costume Base - you could make a better sash from curtain fabric

Is the person who is mentioned on Confessions of a Jackaholic still doing custom woven sashes? Those might also be a good option if they are still available. They run around $120 though

I might end up getting the Empire one, I just have folks saying "Oh $50 is a lot for a sash, that you can find one close and make one cheaper with other material.." but eh, I may still go with the empire, I have one from material and it isn't the right match and length.

How is the weight of the fabric?  Does it hang well?  The photos on the auction page make it look very thin and light.  That's my only complaint about my Acme sash, that's why I'm still using my Ikea sash:lol:

I've felt an ACME sash before, and it does seem slightly thinner than the Empire one. I have an Empire sash and I think it hangs pretty well.

I bought Empire's sash. I'm happy with it. I think it's worth the money.
