It is indeed sunny Los Angeles...

I plan to be there within the next few months and am opening up a training academy (focusing on Western Martial systems/historical swordsmanship). But I also plan to put together a performance/fight team for doing gigs and the like with pirates, of course, being a part of the themes we can offer. Also going to have an equipment/sword shop and a prop/costmuming shop on location as well.

It's going to be an exciting (albeit somewhat daunting) year!!

Welcome aboard the good ship TBC. You know, I've been a member of a lot of forums and typically what happens is - the knowledgeable veterans stick around while the noobs join.

So inevitably, noobs ask the same ol questions. And for some reason, this rubs the vets the wrong way and they typically fire back, "this has been asked before - use the search feature."

At TBC we want your stupid - asked a million times before questions. Because at TBC our experts don't mind being experts, I mean... after all, isn't that what having knowledge is for? Sharing?

Besides, just because your question has been asked before, doesn't mean that the conversation might not go in a new direction.

And after all, the more the same question is asked, the easier it will be for the next guy to use the search feature. Hey, it's not like forum threads take up actual room somewhere - it's all just webspace.

So go ahead, ask away
