Hey, I am FleetStreetNightmare from KTTC. This seems kind of repetitive to post an intro here as well, but I figured I should anyways.

I decided to join here as well because I need to do all the research I can as I begin to start on my Jack Sparrow cosplay. I have been cosplaying Sweeney Todd for 4 years and trying to get it as accurate as possible and have finally decided that it is time for me to get another cosplay done. After seeing the 4th Pirates of the Caribbean film I decided that it would be fun to try and get a good Jack Sparrow costume together. So I will now be on this forum as well as KTTC, stalking the costuming threads and gaining as much knowledge as possible before I begin to buy the more expensive items for this costume. I swear, I notice a new detail every day, it's kind of insane. But I thank all of you for providing all of the information and reference pictures (especially to the creator of the costuming Wiki, that thing is amazing!).
So, I look forward to reading all the information you guys have to offer and hopefully sharing my progress as I start to get this costume together.

Yes , I prefer not to say ...I think a lot people who are in the sparrow business adjust according to supply,demand and time of year ...So the price I paid could be more or less then what he may be asking now .... and I think thats pretty much the way most run it ... I remember getting Bandanas from the original place for like 4 dollars at one time ...now I've seen that price jump to 65 and then back down but still way more then 4.00 back before people were actually looking ...
