Received new updated button trim and back fabric from Scot at YorDreem. I dropped my waistcoat off at the taylor to have laced tabs made for the backing to keep it all neat and in place before I put on my sash. They will also sew on the new button trim. Also got a bone dread ring from Jill at Swag Arts today, thanks you dear! I'll add the thread to it and install on the dread!

I stripped the color from my YorDreem breeches, again. Then re-dyed them and they came out really nice! Slowly but surely!

After seeing the movie Thursday, I swapped back in my YorDreem Sea Coin, added a Swag Arts OST Fid, used my old fid to make a new piece of bone on the end of one of the right side dreads, added a bead to the top of the feather shaft of one of the left side dreads, and made some notes.

1. I need to order a few new dreads & a new blond braid
2. I need to shorten the button dangle & have it come from the red feather dread.
3. Add dreads to through the pony tail - 2 more
4. Add leather cord through twine wrapped dread
5. Add brown sea glass to button dangle
6. Add dread to dread on right side
7. Add hair around a few dreads

Then I'll find more stuff to mod, add, or change! Never ending it tell you

Well I paid our Pirate Lord Captain ACME a little visit. Picked up a trinket set, ordered a vest, & got measured for a tricorn......here I go again! Thanks Richard!

I finally finished sewing the buttons on my new ACME v2 OST vest, what an act of patience! I also finally added my ACME trinket set to my wig and spruced it up some. Need to still add a few more dreads and braids to the wig and sun bleach the bandana. I still need to add the pick stitching to one cuff and the neck of my shirt. I'm still looking for the second flintlock, anyone? Found a cool mannequin that has posable arms, can wear boots, and is 6'3", I really want to display this costume!

Displaying your costume sounds like a great idea, although mannequins are moderately creepy lol
But definitely a nice way to keep all your costume items in one spot

No the pick stitching is on BOTH cuffs and the neck. I have ONLY stitched one of MY cuffs. I need to get stitching. I don't like mannequins either, BUT yes it is a great way to display a beautiful costume. Better than on a hanger in a closet.....
