Stripped my YorDreem pants of color using Rit Dye Remover

Trying to Finish Up My OST Costume Web

Followed the Pirate recipe for OST pant color - boiling water, salt, 1 packet of Pearl Grey, 1/4 packet of Dark Brown, stir & simmer for 20-30 minutes

Wash & hang dry

I need to take them to the tailor and have them taken in and the front fixed from going through the washer. I like how they came out, a bit uneven in some areas despite the stiring and manipulating, they look a bit faded in a few areas. I'm pretty hapy with them!

Nobel Collections Flower ring arrived, it's cool and very detailed, but seems too small.

I was with you on that for quite some time. But recently someone over on KttC (I think Undead Monkey) said to just tie a simple knot (like a square knot, or a "granny" knot) in the lacing and let it hang. I did just that, and the knot looks perfect! So it's actually pretty darn simple.

And HB Jack: yeah, the flower ring by Noble has always seemed a bit small to my eye. Especially compared to something like the Costumebase one (which is actually quite huge-ish). But the advantage is that it's really the best quality replica you're likely to find.

MadSparrow869 - It's an easy knot, a Granny is right! I hung mine from a drapery rod for a few days and whala! It came out great!!!

Captain Mc Cool - Yeah the Nobel Collection Flower ring is perfect, but compared to my Costume Base shi#$y Flower ring, it's small. I'd like to see how big the ACME one is? I have ordered a ACME Stolen ring and am excited to get it!

April 23rd is my little girl's party, so I'm hoping to have this costume all finished before the "Big Event"

Lookin' good mate! The whole thing is coming together quite nicely!

The facial hair will certainly pull the whole look together. With the eye makeup, the crazy Jack hair, and being clean shaven you have a vaguely Alice Cooper thing going on, haha.

Yea, looks awesome - I think the "check the belts" comment is for the backside only. Your sash was covering up them beauties.

There is a more glaring error on the front side... it's nothing to worry about as it's nothing wrong with the belts or buckles themselves

Where did you get your waistcoat? Looks good, but I would say the shoulders need to be more narrow- only thing that catches my eye x

Thanks Cristian! It's a lot of costume and a lot of stuff to place. I need a little more practice, especially on the sash!

My waistcoat is from Scott at YorDreem, very nice piece, I love it!

Nicely done!

Haha, yeah... mine's pretty messy too. That's exactly what I'm trying to do with mine though. I want to get it all together and organized, and then make sure everything stays in its proper place. I already misplaced my trophy lace and flower buckle somewhere in my disaster of a bedroom :/

Anyway, lookin' real good mate!
