i think the boots are more i got a quote i live in the USA and she said 250 so i dont think that that is too far off

$250, eh? Hmm I guess $280 isn't too bad then. I think the main prob is that they're made in Brazil, so getting em anywhere other than South America is difficult and expensive. Cheaper than flying there to pick em up, I guess, lol.

And yes, he/she does speak english, but you would have to email them and be very patient for a reply. I might take the plunge and go for a pair of these, just cos the preview pics look so good. Better looking than a pair of CA boots, let's be honest, lol.

y'know I was totally up for taking the risk to get these things made for me.... even emailed the seller a couple times to confirm i wanted them..... 0 response

so i've just gone on the assumption that they're not a totally reliable seller and have ordered my own square-toed shoes to turn into boots myself

My high arch wouldn't like them boots. Look painfully flat, need to toss a shank in them bad boys.
