Cheap boots?

Has anyone ever bought these?

Clearly fake leather but for that price and for someone on a tight budget? They look better than some of the other cheap alternatives but I wondered if anyone has ever seen them in the flesh so to speak?

Those ones are for the Franken-jack...

But to be real I wouldn't do it. If you look at the zoomed in photo, you can see where the material meets the (gigantic) rubber soles. I foresee that material peeling away either during normal use or when you try to weather them. But that's simply my first impression I don't own these so I cant speak with confidence.

I wasn't gonna buy a pair as I have my Caboots, just wondered if they were any good for someone doing Jack on a tight budget. Not keen on the military style sole myself but they seem much better than some other budget options.

If Jack were headed into combat they might be the right look! ;-) It's the massive black zipper in the back that really throws me off!
