Yes, I know even though these pictures have been posted elsewhere, it's still fun to post and talk about my own costume.



Since these pictures I have a new mustache and a new hair coin (that I have not put in yet) and a new ACME sash



I never started off to be "screen accurate" or to have every hole and dirt smudge in the right place. In fact most of my costume is vendor bought.



Like Cristian said, there is always room left to improve, but if I did it all at once, there would be nothing to look forward to.

Captain Jack's costume is never really finished. There is always a better item to add or they change something in a movie sequel.

I am SO jealous of this photoshoot! We just don't have those amazing locales out here in Colorado, I'm afraid. Being all landlocked and what have you.
These really are the best shots I've seen of your costume. I'd really like to see the new facial hair appliance though!

The facial hair must be tricky to make to look realistic especially when you get real close.

Where did you get the boots? It`s the only thing I need for my costume to be complete.
I use Jedi boots with a cloth to make it look like a pirate boot : )

You should post a closeup of your 'stash. I want to say it looks a little wide (vertically), but that might be the angles that those photos capture it at.

I'm also curious about your black wrist wrap, got a closeup of that? Did you buy it or make it?

Isn't burlap...ya know...kinda itchy? I found some thicker threaded linen, that almost looks like canvas but is very soft compared to burlap. Haven't tried to make a wrist wrap out of it yet though.

Ordered a marlinspike from Swagarts, just pulled my wig back out and put in my "mystery coin" and... well... I have a new sash from ACME. There will be a new me at the movie Thursday night!

Mojo, have you thought about having a 2 -piece mustache? The thickness of it right now reminds me of Magnum PI.

I followed Mojo's wristwrap tutorial, but I soaked my burlap in fabric softener and some soap. At first it was really to get that burlap smell out, but my wife had the forethought to add fabric softener. Its not bad at all afterward.
