Those are actually pretty nice. It would save alot of time and effort to have to make the box.
I'm a little concerned that the picture looks more like plastic and the description is "teak wood." Teak is an extremely rare and very expensive hard wood that is commonly used on sailboats for decorative wood work and also deck plating.
I review this with a little bit of doubt in mind but I inquired about pricing for 1000 order which is the minimum.

Savvy: Keep us posted. Even as is that would be a great item for us to convert ourselves. I imagine they would sell well on eBay.

Wooden compass
I have been working on a wooden compass for a little while now, I am doing a short run due to time it takes and the cost of the materials as I have not taken deposits as I do not want to disappoint decent people who have spent hard earned money to buy them, but once completed I shall post up pic's to see what the Brethren think.

Unfortunately the compasses from Alibaba are only 3 centimeters which is about the size of a ring boix.
