Ahoy Fernando!  

I am just now getting into my work on Zizzle, along with 2 other compass projects as well!  

Now, I am not expert and am figuring all of this stuff out on my own - along with some things I have found on the net at various sites.  During those searches a came across advice regarding the hinge.  I purchased these brass hinges from Lowes hardware.  One can take the two pieces apart - take the two 3 barrel pieces and place them together to create the 6 barrels you need!  You will just have to figure out how you are going to install them to make up for the offset when the hinges.  There are obviously other size choices as well, however I went with 1 X 3/4 inch!

Nice work thus far on the piece!  How did you mod the interior!  I am working on figuring out how I am going to mod all brass parts for the interior as well!  I purchased a solid brass ring from china, a brass nut, and a brass "lamp" screw to create the lanyard ring piece!  Yours looks great!
