I just picked up two Denix Kentucky flints for under $30.00 each so I was hoping to mod them as you did. I am looking for most of the parts that you used such as butt cap, trigger guard, small oval shaped part on the handle, the designed piece on the left side of the flint as well.

got you the only zizzle part i cast was the tumb peice the rest are from firelock flintlocks i have molds made of these parts i could cast them for you in resin

i sanded down to get oct to round shape and cut out a wood end to replace the brass part

Do you have a link to the firelock flintlocks? I may just pick up the other pieces there. I was hoping to get all the parts cast in metal or pewter. That way the weapon will have some weight to it.
