Well I hesitate a lot to put some pictures of my costume here.
Mainly because it's not very good, it's only look-alike, well like I'm a girl it can't be as good as on guys
And also because the pictures are not news.

But think it's funny to share our love for Pirates, no matter if the costume is perfect or not, the passion is more important
Anyway here are some pics, just for fun.

Those are the oldest picture.



Those pics are a little more "accurate" since I have the Headscarf, a sort of hat, and other things...



I'm currently making a new costume, with better stuff, much more accurate to Jack Sparrow.
There is still some works to do, it should be done in about one month if everything goes well
But for the coat I will need to wait until this summer.

I like it so far, it has that creative cuteness only girls seem to be able to pull off. Not that a guy wants to be cute or anything, lol

What I find interesting is there are a lot of girls out there that have pulled off a pretty convincing male Jack Sparrow, with beard and all (fake beard of course, would be scary if it wasn't). A lot that I've seen have the perky cheeks that are a lot like Johnny's when he smiles. How far are you going to take your costume?

I would advise not going this route though. It takes the focus away from the costume to more *ahem*, other places of male interest. lol

Even if usually men love that kind of pictures, personnally I find that too much vulgar.

The boots will be different though, smaller.

Recently I made another serie of pictures.
But a little bit less accurate to Jack Sparrow, it's more girly and I called it "Mrs Sparrow" but I don't know if I can put this here too ?

just change a few things like the sash to match Jack's, loose the gloves among other things. This looks close to what you already have.

well she started with my old costume base waistcoat.. she did it just to "make me company" once... but after that she really got in to pirates.. and makes more improvements, so i help her with my old buckles and some tips..

this pictures are really old like a year ago, now she has proper buckles and my old wig LOL...











Ill ask her if she wants to try full gear.. and ill take some pictures..

Oh no it's still a kind of Jack but in a female version.
