To me it looks like the bird is flying into the sun, and the red lines are the suns rays peeping out from behind his head.

Oi!

I decided to go for the tattoo stamp thing (not ready for the real deal just yet), but I didn't like some of the details of the currently existing tattoo graphics, this one and this one (no offense to their authors, whoever they are, I'm just very pedantic about details sometimes), so I decided to make one myself.

I used this photo of Johnny as a base, as the tattoo is less distorted in it than in any other photos I've seen. Photoshoped it a bit to compensate for the distortions and that's what I ended up with:

Then I traced this and started fixing details, comparing it with other photos of the tattoo until I was satisfied with the result. This is it:

Based on this I made another version that is more accurate to Jack's tattoo in COTBP:

I'm thinking of using Johnny's tattoo for my stamp, but I'll not invert it like he did.
