Yes, good deal for $15. But, I see it's on sale for $7.99 now. So I'd say a smashing deal! lolcapt.J.j.sparrow wrote:good deal for $15.00?
It does, but does it come with the belt like the zizzle does? I think NOT!Mojo Turbo wrote:wow, that looks like the zizzle

Re: pistol? knockoff
just got 2 of 'em in the mail yesterday.
I've never handled a Zizzle pistol before but from what I can tell, these are it, or pretty good knock offs. Mine were just wrapped up in shipping material, no packaging. And there's a small speaker for sounds but when you pull the trigger there's nothing. I'll check for batteries tomorrow.
For the price, I think it's a great deal!

Zizzle vs. Firebolt Pistol. Side by side!
I have the Zizzle and the "knock off" in my hand (one fingered typist) At first glance they are identical. So you would assume they have recast or purchased the original mould. However, closer inspection and this has been remade with the most minute variances in some of the details.
The obvious one is the depth of the graining on the wooden part of the barrel. I assumed they had just milled the scores out, however, when you play spot the difference, they are actually in slightly different places. The screw slot on the firing mechanism is at a different angle, the leaf shape on the butt is slightly broader. I could list another couple of dozen minutae that all add up to a rework, not a recast of the original. All in all a remarkable forgery.
Sold in the UK as the Firebolt Pistol with working electronic sound in two of the five I purchased makes me assume the warehouse staff play at pirates a lot too. Bristol Novelty Ltd imported them from China according to the packaging label.Interestingly they also are marketing a Firebolt Sword on the packaging which looks strangely familiar too.
I picked mine up for £3.99 each, last time I looked at the Dollar exchange rate, that would equate to around $3.99
