Ouch...too much for my blood...anyone able to find a good (preferably plastic) alternative? Plastic may not be the best, but it's a little easier to get away with in public.

yes , they call "Queen Anne " the stile, but I dont know the name of the model jack is wearing..

I think that the pistol is a boxlock type pistol with the hammer, flint and frizzen centred in the weapon rather than on one side. The barrel looks to be a cannon-style barrel which is often the style used on a Queen Anne pistol.

Any other views folks?

I believe it is - saw a pic a while back that confirmed it...or so I thought. Anyone seen that pic?

Am hoping to barter some old Naval swords for a couple of original Queen Annes from a chap in Greenwich and a museum in Portsmouth. If anything comes of it i'd like to know who'd like one (In the UK, not sure about gun laws i.e. being sent overseas)

Already have a brace of Napoleonic Navy pistols which will do for gigs and a toy pistol for public gigs. Can we post videos of loading and shooting these guns here?

Awesome. The fabric is a yes if you want to pay a stupid amount. It'll be cheaper going with yordeem compared to this silly cow. Clearing out a friends garage we found an old replica 12 pounder on gun carriage so i'm hoping he'll sell it, or bargain for some weapons as I could use at least three new flintlocks.

have something he wants so could hopefully swing at least one pistol and that ones yours mate savvy? Got an actual coin/medal which was given to my great (stupidly great) granddfather after the battle of Trafalgar. That combined with a working cannon and the promise of a few new swords and boarding axe should swing it in our favor capiche?

If not then I sense a Jacked-up trip to Greenwich. Swarm the town and shops and see what we can find between us. Pearl

we want to do a video of loading and shooting a naval cannon with two types of shot. Round and grape. If he's allowed them i'm taking my pistols to, for the first time on a forum, shoot my replica navy, baker rifle and 'perry' flints. Exciting stuff. Cutlass

For now i'm sticking with the old vest-can't find or afford the fabric so might as well go with what works.

Has anyone looked into building a real firing replica like the Perry ones I've seen? I've not looked yet, but I also don't remember seeing any boxlock kits. I'd much rather have a real gun over an MR or my modded Zizzle, so the same would apply to Jack's second pistol.
