"She looks great!" Shrunken Head / Mum

Hey folks, just wanted to get some feedback. Have yet to find nice enough lookin hair to replace the crappy bleach-white hair that came with it, but I'm keeping a weathered eye. Also stuffed her innards tightly with scraps of fabric, which makes her both a lil heavier, and holds shape better too.

It's the latex one that comes in the cannibal accessory pack.

Starts off a kinda flat plum colour, and the hair's white and cheap lookin. So I ripped all the hair off the top, stuffed excess fabric tightly through the neck hole and covered it with duct tape. Then used brown and black warhammer paints applied with a rag to recolour the entire skin.

The final stage is to just replace the hair I removed with something a lil more accurate to the movie-used prop. Then I'll just attach her to the suit!

funny you should request it, cos last night i removed the duct tape that sealed up the neck (frankly a hideously lazy mistake) and started filling up the open area with liquid latex. The fabric still inside has worked great at giving it actual texture, as if there may have been proper innards there, but it's meant I've had to pour the latex very slowly, in many layers. I'll try to post update pics soon

I do still have to punch her hair. Looks like I won't have Mum ready for the UK premiere tomorrow, but at least my new wig's done. I'll be updating this thread soon enough though... adding hair to a latex lump isn't the BIGGEST chore on a Jack Sparrow suit hahaha

I just got my head today. I will be watching this. Thinking about foaming the inside. Are you keeping the AWE look or modifying it for OST? Interested in how you punch the hair.
