Introducing: SM Pillowfort for your OST Vest
Jack "Scott, Maul Williams" has released his facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/SM-PillowFort-Trading-Co/113240055428785?sk=wall
Now you can get your OST Vest or Fabric in "GOLD"
And he says it's NOT a limited run... so no worries of running out.

Wow, that gold stitching weave, not the pattern, looks spot on with the screen used fabric. It really stands out too. Can't wait to see some weathered pics of that embroidery.

Re: Introducing: SM Pillowfort for your OST Vest
BRILLIANT!!!!!
But yes, the most important part to me, by far, is the price! What's this stuff running for? Does anyone know??? I could probably afford at least 1 yard, no matter how pricey the stuff is. And if the fabric is wide enough, that should theoretically be enough for a waistcoat...

Okay, I actually found it, and... yikes...
$185 plus shipping... yeah, I'm not going to be upgrading anytime soon...
No slight to the maker, of course, a pirate's gotta do what a pirate's gotta do (or charge, in this case, for the making of an extremely unique fabric). Still, no way I'll be able to afford it anytime in the forseeable future.

Yep, that's the fabric alone. Greg's link is the one! Thanks mate!
Re: Introducing: SM Pillowfort for your OST Vest
I got my fabric from Scott about a week and a half ago. I'm waiting for the fabric for the back of my waistcoat. What he sells are two panels, both more than wide enough to do each side of the vest as well as pocket flaps. Out of the box it is beautiful, and I have been SLOWLY weathering it while waiting for the back fabric which should be here tomorrow. I should have the waistcoat done by the end of the weekend.
Scott does truly beautiful work - and the total cost of my OST waiscoat will be around $250. Not bad in my eyes...

So if pictures hold true the Age/Weathering service for said waistcoat and pillows is simply Nu Life spray. I finally found a source here in Pasadena, CA and heading out to purchase some. Age my waistcoat and my boots!!!

You told me on Facebook that you got your waistcoat fabric from a vendor who provided it for the movie...
It's pretty well done for being custom made! A bit smooth and shiny tho no? The hero waistcoat seems to have a lot more texture to the base silk. IMO.

Capt. Christian,
I'd love to see pics of your waistcoat. Can't get on FB here at work, are they posted anywhere else?
Thanks!
