PROP: The Dead Man's Chest

Has any of our crafty Jacks actually built said chest? If I remember right, the MR was made of resin.

I'm hoping to start one some day, as well as the East India Company wood box that contained the letters of marque.

I know, right? And you'd never even know it, looking at the thing up-close! The same girl also made my first ever (and ironically, most screen-accurate) compas out of cardboard and styrofoam.

Thanks mate I'll post some pics very soon I bought a bigger cheap box from hobby lobby on sale for 13 $ and I stripped it down and I am building up all the main details with Leather it's already lookin good !

I will probably be doing a run of these with an accurate bottom to the box where it slants in, but i didn't want to spend 800 dollars on the MR since its made of resin this is wood and leather! well let me know what you think mates and any interest in one if any. Also the latch closes and opens when you turn the crab.
