Yea but if you spend a little more: http://halloweendeluxe.com/disguise-pirates-carr-sword-scabbard-p-652.html?manufacturers_id=1
You don't have to mod the rigidy handle AND you get a scabbard.

Re: Cheap Swords!
No dimensions of said sword so size looks a wee bit deceiving.

Re: Cheap Swords!
Nice finds Mojo! Those were really hard to find not six months ago! I do know they're releasing a new line for the new movie though, and from the photos I saw on the Disguise site, they look to be exactly the same as the old ones - probably based on the same molds.
And as for the sort of knockoffs, I know there was a guy over on KTTC (can't remember who, but it was one of the at least semi-regulars) who actually did buy and mod one like that. The specs looked basically just like those of the licensed sword.

Anyone can be a bargain shopper, go to Google and type "Pirates of the Caribbean Sword and Scabbard" after you get the results, click "shopping" on the left side and then select the drop down feature to sort from "lowest to highest" you will always find the best deals on any merchandise you are looking for.
Then don't forget to use the wiki to mod your sword: http://jacksparrowcostuming.wikispaces.com/Weapons+Tutorial+-+Sword

Wow, that actually is a really good price. Those things used to go for about twice that, didn't they?
Re: Cheap Swords!
I met with the owner yesterday and it came with box, sword, wall frame and COA. All for $100. Feel pretty good about that. Any suggestions on a scabbard??

Re: Cheap Swords!
I know Capt. Jack Savvy/Undead Monkey makes a spot on scabbard, so I'd try him. And yes, $100 was a good deal. A steal, as it were...bloody pirate...
Re: Cheap Swords!
What is everybody's opinion on the Jack Sparrow sword made by NECA?
Does anyone actually own one?
