Weathering a buckle Empty Weathering a buckle

I took my old Baldric Buckle and gave it a good scrubbing and brought it back to nice shiny brass. ( wish I took a picture) because I have been wanting to reweather it for quite some time.
I also found Janitorial Supply Ammonia which is about 20 times more potent that the regular stuff you find on the grocery cleaning aisle.  This stuff is real bad.  I got a whiff by accident and I thought my nose was going to start to bleed it burned so bad.  Anyways  the regular strength ammonia usually takes several hours to days depending on many factors. This stuff was done in 1/2 an hour tops!

Just had it confirmed that this buckle is DA, not SA but DA!
Disney Park accuracy.  This is the same buckle that is worn by some of the Disney Park Jack Sparrows
8 years ago and is still in use today!
This was confirmed to me by the maker herself!

I'll have to ask her If I can release her name. She is no longer making anything and does not wish to be bombarded with requests that she would be unable to fulfill. Mouse Rules I guess.
She did tell me at one her buckle had been recasted by someone and a few forges were produced, but mine is a genuine original!
