Nice work! I'm on the list for the next Indy Magnoli run but in the meantime I just got my own one of these in the mail today and will be doing this too!

Nice. Wish I had it in the costume budget... I tell ya, Jack Sparrow costuming is no poor man's game.

You got that right! That is why I decided to go with a Curse Of The Black Pearl Jack to start with? Of the 4 movies It appears to be the best option for a "Screen Accurate Jack" for the pirate on a budget.

Agreed. DMC and AWE are my favs of the four so I had to aim for that Jack. Never liked the OST version of Jack but after seeing so many great OST costumes, it's grown on me.

You did a good job! The blade is looking great. But you're not finished yet... ;-)
... What about the handle and the hand-protection...?! If you're going to weather these two parts in the same way, your plastic sword will be awesome...!
I weathered my plastic sword, too. But your blade I like better ...

Looks good, dude! Sanding the seam on the handle would be good, maybe adding some pleather or leather on the handle itself where you hold it. The blade looks awesome, good job.

@Banditxx1 Looking good! I love that it has a frame. Do you hang it on the wall?
@Clayster Couldn't decide what color to go with on the guard. I may dust it with some silver and black but still up in the air about it. I fear I may overdue it.... then again Indy's appears to be mostly black and his look great!
