I saw where Indy had posted he was thinking of doing all metal replicas of Jack's sword in the RPF's junkyard....They would be around $175 I believe.....

Hi Indy,
I don't understand. I just ordered it days ago, and it's here.
This is the business! Anyone want Jacks sword, get this one.
Its worth every penny and more.
Fittings and balance superb. Minor dremel finishing on the handle, thats it.
I will watch the finish on the scabbard.
Overall exceeding expectations Mate.
A nice authentic piece

Re: Indy Magnoli CJS Sword and Scabbard
Just wondering if the latest Indy Magnoli swords no longer have the issues with the scabbards etc?
Also, do the Indy swords fit the ACME scabbard?
Cheers!

Re: Indy Magnoli CJS Sword and Scabbard
These were all made in one run, so it's really luck of the draw. Most of the scabbards are fine, but all of them can be fixed up to a great finished product. I just took a factory second and worked on the sword and scabbard myself. They are now as good as new... well maybe as good as antique. In any case, it looks perfect:

If anyone wants this sword at a discount, let me know. Price is $150 shipped within the US only.
Kind regards,
Magnoli

You can still get them directly from me, but if you'd rather go through eBay, that link will get you the same sword.
Re: Indy Magnoli CJS Sword and Scabbard
You sold them to Sith What His Name? Oh Indy......<sigh>

Is that a problem? A guy e-mailed me and asked if he could buy some swords and sell them on eBay. Sure, why not? Anyone here who wants to do the same, let me know.
Re: Indy Magnoli CJS Sword and Scabbard
Is the stud/post metal or plastic?
I've heard some say they were plastic...
Cheers!

P.s. If we purchase from you are the scabbards already fixed up by you, or is it something we need to do ourselves?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Indy Magnoli CJS Sword and Scabbard
When I first got these, I never noticed the posts being anything but metal. Then when I saw someone say they were plastic, I was disappointed that this was overlooked, and decided to replace mine with metal. So, I unscrewed the post... and hey, it was metal after all! It's probably a lightweight metal like aluminum or something, hence the confusion.
As for the scabbards, these are all packaged up and ready to ship direct from the factory, so if any work needs to be done, you'd have to do it yourself. All I did with the bad ones were peeled off the excess dye, used a little sand paper, then hit it with black shoe polish. It's all genuine leather, so they come up very nicely.
Kind regards,
Magnoli
