How many dreads for a DMC wig?

Hi

As the title says, how many dreads roughly should I have for a DMC look. At the moment my wig has 13 dreads but I think I need more.

I think it's approx 35-40. I used to know for certain but can't remember exactly now. May have to go back through my notes...

really as many as that? oh! Doesn't look as many on the promo pictures; I guessed more than CoTBP but less than OST. Better buy some more hair then....

Back in the "deep deep" archives: 

Capn'n Zach reported counting 32 in the DMC/AWE wig. 
On Oct 27, 2010 Yordreem was making that same wig with 32 dreads

Ok,

Now added more dreads and up to 32. My first wig was the Costume base one which is awful....but it does have a lot of dreads (actually its all it has...) so I cut loads of the brown ones and sewed them to my new wig. Made me realise how much I hate sewing dreads in however but I think it looks better. Will post a new picture on my build thread for you to compare.
