Hat review; OST style ND Haberdashery

First of all I wish to state I received no compensation for this review. Recently I purchased a new tricorn hat. I wanted an all leather affair to replace my cruddy Elope hat. I was pointed in the direction of ND Haberdashery. Who also happens to be a member here. . I reviewed pic after pic to see what he had to offer. They looked good from the pics so, me being as frugal as I am with my money I decided to buy one. Mine came in a 28'' size, which scared me at first. But the second it hit my head I was in love with this piece. It is all leather, correct style and stitching. The bowl is perfect with zero stretch marks to my eye. Once my wig is on it fits comfortably and secure.

I wouldnt quite call it an OST style, more like a dmc awe style , but you can call anything you want !

I also have to go on account and say that UpnorthJack's hats are simply awesome!!

I got an undyed prototype hat from him, and to hear his description of it it had a lot of flaws. But the price was right, and I needed a new leather tricorn after the sad demise of my previous one. So, a deal was struck and soon after a box arrived...

I opened the box, again with the honest description from UpnorthJack echoing in my mind. But, what I saw when I opened the box was sheer beauty... The "hat with flaws" was, to my eyes, nearly perfect. After dying and weathering it a bit, it is one of my favorite pieces of the costume and one I get TONS of compliments on.

If you are looking for a great, affordable hat, UpnorthJack/ND Haberdashery is the way to go.
