Baldric buckle size?

Another question for you gents -

My baldric is about 2.5-3" in width - I'd like to replace the buckle with the DMC-AWE-OST baldric buckle but alas I don't know which vendor would be best.

What are the sizes of your buckles and would they fit a 3" belt?

ACME buckle ($40) -- fits up to a 2" wide belt/baldric:

Empire buckle ($54) -- doesn't say anything about size, but I guess it's the same thing -- up to 2". I ordered one of these, when I get it I'll let you know the exact measures:

I think McCool said the Empire buckle is more SA. I don't think there are other buckles out there, at least not good ones.

So... I think you could not possibly find a buckle for a 3" wide belt... you'll have to cut it down to 2". Well, I hope I'm wrong

I was aware of ACME and Empire, and alas there's is only 2" as you pointed out, so no good

Remember the ACME buckle is measured and molded off of the JD display at the El Capitan back when AWE was playing. I have seen ACME prototype pics and it is 2 inches. I have seen his pics of the real buckle at it is also 2 inches. I don't think you will find anything more accurate.

There is some discussion that the buckle has changed sizes from DMC-->AWE-->OST which may be true but alot of things have changed in OST.

^ oh I have no doubt it's accurate, not at all haha. it's my baldric's size that's the issue.

I'm going to take it into the local leather shop and see if it can be cut

I believe my ACME buckle is also 2 1/4, and I'm pretty sure that this is at least very close to the screen accurate width.

looks to me that has the wright size but no acurate detail.

it's ok, but like you said, it's a far cry from the real deal. Looks like a terrible recast

1,- OST is the same buckle 2-3 ( they are made by hand no cast, there are NOT 2 buckles exact the same.
2.- The word Screen accurate is really bad used for a lot of sellers.
3,- the exact measure inside the buckle is 54.6mm
