I have to say, I've always wanted to do I sea harpy/wicked mermaid type costume. Maybe this will be some new inspiration to get me going?

Today I have glittery nails, shimmery eyeshadow, my hair is twisted in 4 rows at the top and the rest air dried and wavy and wearing a skin colour shirt with scaly sequin shoulders... this is my homage and way to costume a mermaid without actually being a mermaid or actually costuming since I am going to the casino ( and don't have a tail ). *thumbsup*

LOL not very exciting since it's just ... me... with differently styled hair. But sweet self timer'ed photo in front of my window gave a pretty glare in the background so here's... uh... my hair.



Definitely plan on doing it like this when I take my parents to see the movie. ...Maybe with an oversized dress shirt... Human-Syrena FTW!

I know, my heart breaks a little every time I see that pop up on FB. I'm now seriously planning a full body costume for a mermaid... only thing is finding a pool deep enough to take pictures in for the tail. My pool is only like 4.5ft all around. Boo! But I guess I could swim longways and just flip the images....problem solved!

Syrena costume??? Easy....take a shower, get out, do not dry off, put on period style linen shirt...voila!! Don't recommend it for Halloween though.

You forgot the step that includes walking through lots of dry leaves and dirt. Very important. Must not be skipped!
