can't tell but it looks like the thick Magnum P.I. mustache I ended up with. I tell ya mate, I have not seen a good mustache on anyone except a natural one... or a Mazie.

Nothing ever looks good "out of the box". They all look best once you trim them up. It's actually best to start with a stach that is more than what you need. Find a pic of what you want, start trimming with fine point scissors. dry fit, trim, repeat. Just do a lil bit at a time, so you don't hack it up. Soon you have what you wanted.

Miss Swag took the words right outta' me own mouth! It's better to start with a moustache that's really quite long and scraggly. That way you can trim to the desired length (and leave some wisps on the ends for the "curl under" effect). You can also go through and thin it out a bit if you want, expecially near the bottom of the stache. And remember, out-of-the-box all of these staches are stiffened with sizing or the like, so you'll want to wash them gently with some shampoo and water to get a more natural look.
