UDM's Angelica Corset............I mean My Wifey's Angelica Corset!?

Although I have been told I look slimmer when I wear it!

Took the original corset, purchased some really expensive and soft and supple black lambskin leather and went to town. I first created a paper template for both the top and bottom. Four pleats going up and four pleats going down and a strip down the center. Lastly the four pieces underneath the gold trim. I only had to make cardstock templates for one side and flip them for the other side. Dry run with the paper templates yielded much success. Cut all the pieces and started leather gluing them to the corset. I may sew a few areas to ensure long lasting use but for now gluing was the only way to get it done.

I started the project at 10:00pm and finished the last piece of trim at 3:00am!

Now for the hat!!!
