Rethreading of Kuchi Dangle

Finally managed to get round to upgrading my kuchi dangle. Have all the relevant bits, but can I ask the amassed crew, what do you use to thread the beads etc together? I hear some have used leather, others string (my last one was held using heavy weight fishing wire through the core - thin, almost invisible and good breaking strain to boot!

Just interested in what others have used. Thanks in advance mates.
