New Frock coat advice needed

Hi

I'm due some money in June and would like to upgrade my frock coat with it. I was going to get a Sara Fay one as most agree she is the best but having spoken to her about the Disney email and such she cannot make me one now. So who else to try, I looked at the Yordreems one and it looks good but would people recommend any others. Also with the Yordreems one would you get the upgraded button trim. Only reason I ask is in some of the film shots the coat trim looks more like the basic trim that Scott does and the posh trim looks a little too golden.

Are you going for an OST look or DMC/AWE? From what I see in OST, the trim seems to be very different from what is seen in previous movies. See in this picture the trim looks like it is a thin black leather string
Of course, if you are going for a DMC/AWE look, then that isn't of any concern really lol

Cheers fleet, yeah Sara will make an 18th century generic frock coat    but the price is high to cover her risk and if im honest I don't want to get her into any trouble with Disney and put her livelihood at risk. Agree about the trim for OST but if you look at the wiki on the frock coat page the top picture is from pirates 2 or 3 and the trim here is very dull, much more like the basic trim Scott sells.

I'm VERY happy with my Yordreem frock, if it makes any difference. I went with the upgraded trim!

Changed me mind, ditched the new coat idea, happy with the one I've got and decieded to order a Yordreems OST wig and a Empire OST waistcoat and have both versions of the costume available to me. Anyone any experience with the Yordreems OST wig?

I personally don't think his OST wig is the most screen accurate. Unfortunately it doesn't seem that anyone is really making OST wigs just because of how complicated they are to make (with all the small added details that they added to them). I think what I would do is buy the OST upgrade kit that Yordreem sells and add that to you wig along with the braids and little twist braid things that are in Jack's OST wig. Or make a wig yourself.
