The pictures are amazing, and I am amazingly jealous. You and your family look great! You've lost weight! How did the other passengers react? Was there another, Disney funded Jack on board?
Re: POTC Party Onboard the Disney Cruiselines Disney WONDER
Yes the other Disney Jack was onboard but between eating dinner and getting to other characters we kept getting cut off from the line. He looked good and was in full OST gear including frock coat. He was a rather tall Jack. I tried to get his attention but he was busy taking pictures. He was only out during pirate night which sucked because i was hoping to meet him.
I had many parents coming up to me asking for pictures but was turning them away. I wasn't too sure about the policy onboard but many of the crew said "go for it!" So the pictures started. Also when it was POTC Party Night we had dinner at Triton's which is the main dining area onboard. My wife and kids walked in first to the dining area while I was parking a stroller at the handicap/stroller entrance. I quickly returned to the main entrance while everyone was sitting. My intention was to enter and yell out "Alas my children...always remember this day as the day you saw Captain Jack Sparrow!" but I chickened out. So instead I entered the main entrance with some vigor, stood at the top step for about 10 seconds until everyone looked my direction, and bowed!
Some kids came up later asking for an autograph but I told them Mickey Mouse said not today. Surprisingly many parents were surprised I wouldn't sign autographs while I was sitting with a woman (my wife) and two small children (my kids) eating dinner. Why would they even think I was the shipboard Jack????
All in all fun times especially with the surprised looks on children's faces as well as the crew!! We looked for the Wonder's captain but he was not around.

It's times like these when I have the scene from Bad Santa play in my head "I'M ON BREAK!"
Maybe they were just so in awe of your Jackness that all common sense went elsewhere?

My rule of thumb is "Don't upstage the REAL Jack!" at any event that Disney has their own Jack out and about. It takes away from the Disney Magic! But if it is just us Jacks hanging out Jacking Off I tend to act crazy and Jack-like!
