I wondered if you cover the entire width of the belt with the vinyl, then edged the belt for the french edge stitching (over the vinyl) or,
put vinyl on belt allowing a gap either side for the stitching channel to turn over the edge?

Cover the entire width and stitch the edging over the vinyl. It just won't look good otherwise.

You did a good job on yours. the edging seems the same colour as the vinyl.

Yes, me neither, although the Chicago screws would give you the option of changing buckles at some point.

I'm glad to help! It took a bit of working out (I literally sat there staring at a piece of leather for about half an hour trying to work out how to do the frog!). I felt like I was trapped in Davy Jones' Locker going mad. But it all worked out in the end!
