Potential NEW source for breeches!

One of my best friends, a really nice fella called Josh Murray, has been sewing and taking commissions for a while now. He's even hoping to make himself a Barbossa costume next year, so might be joining the boards soon. Anyway, I'm in need of new breeches for my Sparrow, and was gonna get a pair from Black Bear, but then heard all the horror stories about their bad communication etc, and the Costumebase ones don't fit me quite right, I think they're too low-waisted.

So I'm hoping to commission Josh to make some for me, and he's looking into the pattern and fabric now. I told him there's a likelihood that, if they look accurate enough, a few of you guys might be interested in a set too. I'll keep you all updated on this, and post pics when I have news.

Lawrence, mate, I have the SAME problem. Do you use CostumeBase ones, or some other brand?

Haha they are CostumeBase. But I don't know if its something that happens with all breeches?

Maybe that's why people don't wear them today!
