Got some Kuchi in the mail yesterday
When I got home, I had some fresh Kuchi waiting for me, so I took some pictures of it laying on this here mat.

i got mine yesterday too! i spent the night modding the square metal bead to look more sa. made the corners a little bit more sharp, and etched in the correct markings and polished it up on a buffing wheel and Voila! i also just took the little dagger dangly thingies off the coin and put them on my old one i bought at a global trading shop. oh, and replaced the black glass bead on the bottom and replaced it with wood, which i might do for the red and orange beads too. gosh im never satisfied lol

Jodo...........That's just wrong! If you have to order it through the mail you just need to find yourself a girl mate!

LOL!
I actually got mine yesterday too! Apparently we were all looking for some Kuchi!
It may not be 100% SA, but it's a heck of a lot better than what I have been using!

Aye, and I have to say, overall, I really like Tyrannical's strand the best of any being offered right now. Parts aren't perfect, but on the whole it looks better than pretty much any of the others I've been seeing. Plus, they are HUGELY accommodating, and very easy to talk to! I'm ordering just a couple of individual beads from them (which they say they normally don't do, but have been nice enough to make an exception), and their communication has been second to none! I shall shout their name from the rooftops!

I 100% agree! I actually emailed with them back and forth at least 4-5 times talking about the premiere next weekend! And being they are in the SoCal area and I am in the NorCal area, it took like 2 days from the time I sent payment to the time I had them in my grubby hands! AND because I ordered the Skunk bead separately, they actually refunded me a couple bucks back on the shipping... Top notch service from them, to be sure!
Make room on that rooftop as I also will be shouting their name...

It seems I am incapable of wooing said strumpet...as it were.
But yeah, I'm 100% pleased with the bead strand, exactly what I wanted! I'll probably replace the green bead because it looks out of place though.
And yes, the mat is from Target, which is the base I'm using for my Map to World's End.

How long ago did you get that mat, I think I need to make a trip!
Here's my strand from 5 years ago, haven't touched it since. I should probably weather it and chip away at the orange bead a bit

Got it from Toby, not sure what he made vs. got outsourced. He said it was the same on the wax Jacks so maybe Darci?

Re: Got some Kuchi in the mail yesterday
I think I may pick up the tyranical strand for the big bead (yellow) though. Looks more SA than my Darci strand.

Red, I got the mat a few months back. I'm sure they still have them though!
The nearest Target to me is like an hour away...I wish I could say I was going to make a shopping trip.

Man, I'd kill for a Darci strand. Or even just for her square metal bead. I feel like it's practically a mythical creature at this point though.

Don't forget that thread you started on "the other" forum about the "impossible bead". I've had my eye on that for awhile, awaiting the juicy details. Hopefully any day now.
Also, I did a little bit o' bead searching locally a couple of weeks ago. Ran across a possible bead that could be used as a weathered red bead in the kuchi, made from sea coral. They might be a little thick and a little heavier, but I really like the texture it has.
Then I'm sure people have found this at Joann's and Michael's for the black textured one underneath the red bead. Seems to be pretty commonly found. Just gotta drill a hole for it in the right direction

Re: Got some Kuchi in the mail yesterday
I bought one from TPT and it was wood. The yellow, black, and skunk bead. But my missy enjoyed them and the yellow bead weathered rather well.

Re: Got some Kuchi in the mail yesterday
Awesome finds, Jinkxed! It's realyl bizarre, because only a couple months ago I got myself a red coral bead for that exact purpose off of a strand that looked JUST like that one!
And yeah, I'm still waiting on the final word from the other thread... we shall see...
