OST Breeches color

I think I have finally gotten the color I like for the OST Breeches, They are more of a darker gray in OST than the grayish brown of DMC and AWE
   I am happy with how they came out and will not be dying again!
       These started our as Pure White Linen breeches.  Then dyed in 2 packs of pearl grey powder to start.  Then left to dry.  Then I dyed them with 2 equal size packs each of Black Powder and Royal Blue Powder  Finished! I really thought the blue would make them have a purple cast, because from past experiences the black does have a deep purple cast to it, but for some reason this combo worked really well!

I found a RIT color dye chart that they say has over
500 color combinations, I have been playing with a few and am having some more breeches done with a new dye color concoction, hopefully it will turn out better than I am expecting!

The Rit chart has just about every color you can think of.
Funny that the colors they have you add together seem like they would send your fabric way off in an opposite color direction but actually work quite well.
