York Country Perry London Sideplate

I contacted Chris over at York County regarding the Perry London Sideplate since it no longer had a price beside it. He said,

"That sideplate is provided proprietary to the Perry London pistol pistol parts set. It is new and is not yet listed on our website yet."

I asked when it would be available and what the price would be?

"Zach the price will be $650 for brass and $950 in sterling silver.right now
I am running a several month backlog."

So my question now is, are there any other alternatives to getting an accurate sideplate. Is anyone making casts of this sideplate or the butt cap for that matter?

Holy crap! Are those prices JUST for the sideplate? Or is that for the entire Perry pistol parts kit? I got the silver W. Confirth butt cap from Chris for $125. I can't imagine the sideplate would be THAT much more than the butt cap. It doesn't use THAT much more silver and doesn't appear to be THAT much more detailed.

Okay, just checked their website. That price quote HAS to be for the whole Perry pistol parts kit. They have a Queen Anne pistol parts set in silver for $950.

I am assuming it is for whole pistol as well. But I don't think he is selling the sideplate separately anymore.

That's a shame since I already have the butt cap. I would just want the sideplate.

I don't know if I would want a Sterling Silver parts on a flintlock. I would rather take any other non-precious metal! $950 for a sideplate without the internal parts is simply outrageous!

I am thinking about molding the plate myself using my zizzle and using lead free solder to do the pour and see if I can get a metal one out of it.
I will probably order the buttcap from York though.

The $950 isn't just for the sideplate.  It is for the entire parts kit to assemble a fully-functional muzzle-loading flintlock.  They don't have the Perry parts set available yet, but here's a link to their Queen Ann flintlock parts set for the same price:

Agreed. The price he quoted is definitely for the entire pistol. I'm just hoping he posts separate prices for the parts.

Does anyone have a resource for a Perry London Sideplate besides York County? I managed to find a Gargoyle Buttcap from Muzzle Loader Builder Supply at a cheaper price but they don't have the sideplate for Perry Pirate Flintlock.
