New self made hat

Hey mates my old hat finally died for good so I made this yesterday I'm pretty happy wiry it so far it needs more weathering but it's getting there.

Wow, very nice! Is the bowl seperate and sewed in, or stretched? Wondering which method you used. Nice job man!

It's separate from the main hat but it's stretched to form the dome over a hat block

Which guide did you follow? I'm thinking about trying the same myself, and since I have a collection of leatherworking tools not being used, why not?

Actually didn't follow a guid just some trial and error

That's just maddeningly unhelpful... (grin). I'll suss it out if I can. I've seen some of the guides and tutorials. Mayhap I'll give it a go!

The base wig I used I got for 80$ and I got 43 dreads from a friend he had for 4 years and I dyed them I didn't use them all but I love how light real dreads are my old synthetic wig was like 3 xs heavier
