Capt. Cristian's Dragon Ring! Oh my...

Besides the skullring being the most important one of the four, the dragonring has always been my favorite.



The size, the colour and the total design of the thing always somehow fascinated me.

So, because I liked it so much, it was very important for me to get one that looked excactly like the real deal. It really was either that or nothing in this particular case.
As we all know here, of all the replica's (licenced or not) there was not one single ring that actually did resemble that real deal for 100%...

Just when I wanted to either settle for less or maybe somehow make my own, Cristian posted his Casts From His Screenused Dragonring Thread here and on KTTC.

That moment I realised waiting for something better and being patient does pay off every now and then.



Anyways, I'm very new when it comes to buying stuff from people through internet forums, but when contacting Cristian about this ring, with all the questions I had about, well, everything (lol), I learned he's a very nice guy, and very cool taking the time explaining stuff and helping me out.
So after a while I finally worked out everything to make it happen, and I will never regret I did. I am seriously amazingly happy with this ring.
After a week (nice fast shipping) it arrived in a black box:



I was stunned!!



This ring is exactly what I was hoping for. Also the size it originally has, size 11, is a perfect fit for me personally, so no adjustments where necessary. Nice fit on my index finger:



Also perfect for my thumb, it's very steady even after passing the knuckle (I've seen pic's of people wearing dragon rings, and those seem to float and turn and stuff...)



The resin "stone" is a dark green, that is somewhat translucent, so when the light falls through:



very nice...

The way the resin stone is put in is, let's say, a very cool and smart technique. I never would have come up with that.

Through out the three movies the Dragon Ring is worn, it never looks the same all the time. Off course many, many rings were made
through out the productions.
Some are dark, almost black, others have a shiny gold look. Some are very detailed, others less.



Looking at the one I have, I'm assuming it's casted from one of the OST-rings:



I know, I could have asked, but I just like to study things LOL.

Anyways, a big thumbs up and a big thank you to Capt. Cristian for making these rings and offering them.
