Hi all.  Having been Jack as a party piece for several years, I was convinced by my own ‘Angelica’ to do it properly for a milestone birthday fancy dress party! Sparrow  Having scoured your various resources, I went for the Costume Base package.  From other reviews, they appear to have gone off the boil a little when it comes to quality.  Having lost 5 coat buttons and 1 waistcoat button within 1 hour (and the pocket flaps are smaller than previous versions by the looks of it), I resigned myself to customising it.Pillage

So, here I am, several years behind you guys but looking forward to plagiarising all your previous excellent ideas.  I have managed to find a local boot maker who has made me a VERY passable pair of boots (the bells could have been a little bigger, but never mind) out of finest pig suede, ready for ageing!    My main concern is the wig, which really didn’t sit right: the plait sat far too high on my head!

I will get photos on here as soon as possible, but it will be a slow process for me – probably in time for POTC 5!!!  For those that are still using this sight, I thank you now for your assistance, past and present!logo
